I don't usually update about conventions, because I don't do to that many every year! But this year, I will be to FanExpo (August 27-29, 2010, at the Toronto Convention Centre) in the Artist Alley for the very first time in my life! So come by and see me! Hopefully this will be a great experience!

Yup! After 5 months of not finding the time to update my website, I finally did. Must admit that with what happened 2 months ago, things have been crazy and it took me a while to find my mojo back. Some of you will probably see me post this video in a lot of places(please click the link at the beginning of the post!!!). And I want to explain why, if you can take the time, you would go over to their Dorito page and watch / share / talk about them as much as you can. Even a watch, even a share on Facebook or Twitter, anything will give them points.

In the video, they are the Yellow Ninja and the Lady. I've had the pleasure of studying with them in animation college. They are hilarious, very hard-working, inspiring. For years, they've wanted to do their B-series movie of the Bagman. They've submitted their project to SODEC and others, close to getting the funds they needed to get it going, but it unfortunately never happened. They have such a fun and wonderful talent! And I would LOVE to see them win. I really do. If they win, they will use the money to make their dream come true: do the movie they've worked to hard to make happen.

Please support them if you can. It takes only a few minutes, and you might even have a good laugh doing so!!

I mentioned it on my Livejournal and personnal blog but I don't think I've mentioned it here yet. I am planning a Livestream session to show a little bit about my process. So if you are curious or you would like to ask questions, anything really, the session will be this saturday February 27th at 7PM Est. I will do a little bit of inking and a lot of watercolour. There will also have a little presentation on paper, material, sketching. I’m thinking it will be roughly 3 hres. I’ve never really done this before, so I will go with the flow and see how it turns out!
