She is a Sylph. From what I have read and from the definition of my client, a sylph is a souless wind spirit. I've never really done anything macabre and ghastly. But I have to say that I really enjoyed the challenge. I'm seriously considering doing a much more elaborate painting featuring Sylphs. I just love working with the limited color palette like this. So different from the usual cute and whimsical stuff!
