Still rushing to get all those prints ready for Otakon. I wanted to do a series of faery elementals. (it's a bit cliché, but I never really did and elemental series, so I wanted to do it for fun) I've got everyone of them sketched out. But this one is the first to be finished.
FoxFire is her name and of course she's the Fire Elemental.
================
Lineart: pencil and inks
Colors: Photoshop CS
Note: I want to thank everyone who's been commenting and faving my art in the last few days. I've posted quite a few and because I'm rushing to get all of my prints done, I don't have much time to comment back. But I really appreciate every single one of your comments and I do take time to read them! Thank you very much!
I found these drawings years ago through an image search of some kind and fell in love with them[link] I downloaded them and designed a huge tattoo for myself based off of them, but lost the original files when my computer died. Now, years later, I have found them again. Wow. The universe works in mysterious ways. This series is beautiful and I have admired it for years. [link]
Awwww~! She is so beautiful! I love th colors and the flow, so beautiful and amazing! This is digital correct? How do you get the lines so smooth? What do you use? I would LOVE to know. I have a drawing tablet but don't bother using it because the pictures are soooo pixelated due to the fact I only have paint. (ew) Anyway, once again, very beautiful!
AH okay! Yeah I have a mini so I can't get photoshop *sad face*. even though my tablet came with photoshop elements 7! grr. lol but once I get my second comput (one for school ya know) I'll have photoshop! Thanks for letting me know! That's epic win.
I love this! One thing I see is that her arms seem awkwardly placed, I'm not sure if it's realistic for the arms to raise up that high. I could be wrong though. Her left calf looks like it's in front of her left thigh as well. Other than that it looks good!
This series is beautiful and I have admired it for years.

The coloring is digital. But the lineart itself was done with pencils, then inked and scanned so that I could color it all in Photoshop after.
