Character Chart: Maina

For those of you who might wonder if this character has something to do with my nickname: Yes, she does. I've been drawing Maina for years now and I do see a little bit of myself in her.

I'm actually very happy with this character chart, because I have to honestly admit I've never done such an elaborate one before. Even in my animation classes back in college, I didn't put that much effort in analysing a character's expression. I needed to take a break from fairy art, and this is really a nice change for me. I'm even thinking of doing a small animation with her in it if I have time this week. (YAY for vacations!)

It's true that the coloring and lineart aren't exactly polished. I was mostly going to expression and design for this chart.
